Cook Time...35- 40 minutes
Ingredients...
- 2 coups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup powdered sugar (confectioner's sugar)
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon almond extract
- 4 tablespoons white sugar
Directions...
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F
- In a large bowl (can be done in a medium bowl but I used a large one, it's less messier when mixing ingredients) stir together the flour, baking powder, salt and powdered sugar.
- Stir in the butter, almond and vanilla extracts, and mix until a stiff dough forms (don't be worried if it doesn't hold together immediately, if you want you can add a little bit of milk to speed up the process).
- Pat dough into a 9-inch round cake pan. Prick well with a fork.
- Sprinkle white sugar over the top.
- Bake until golden brown or for 35 minutes.
- Cut into pizza slices while warm, cool on a wire rack.
Note: The number of servings depends of how thin you cut the slices you should have at least 10.
