Miscellaneous

Bought some charcoal today, I've always liked the look of it in drawings.  And here is my great work of art...

If you cant tell, it is a little owl sitting on a scarf floating in midair.

On another note, I've decided to start jogging.  I always though to myself "once I get a dog I'll be more active" but that was just an excuse.  If I want to be more active I've got to start now.  Not that doing Tai Chi everyday, going on five mile walks, and starting up the X-box fitness training whatever it's called isn't active.  The problem lies with the fact that I've got no stamina.  I can walk for miles without tiring, but can barely run for fifteen minutes strait.

Be warned, I'll soon be posting a delicious strawberry rhubarb pie recipe!

Tai Chi Ramblings

It seems the more I practice the less I know when studying Tai Chi.  I think my main problem lies in the amount of time I put asside for it.  I only practice once a day.  What I should be doing is practicing whenever I have free time.  Still, I have never been a very motivated person.  Obviously I can accomplish whatever I set my mind to, I'm just not very consistent about it.  I'm too easily bored (and a little bit lazy).  I suppose that's why people have trainers when doing things like this.

Tai Chi Update - Beginning Again

Practiced Tai Chi today after who knows how long.  I'm so stiff and my left leg jiggles when I put weight on it.  However, I am doing much better at memorizing the steps than before.

I really missed it, honestly I don't know why I stopped in the first place.

It's amazing how that a simple thing can have such a positive effect.

Tai Chi Update

Today was my second time practicing a simple form of Tai Chi and I have made so much progress!  I think with one more (two at most) repetitions I  will have it down.  From there it is only a matter of practice to get my body to do it naturally.

I did not expect to feel to hungry afterwards but technically it is a form of exercise, so I guess it's to be expected.

Tai Chi

The other day I bought a How-to Tai Chi guide for beginners.  It's actually a lot harder than it looks (like most things are) but then again, I'm not good at coping people's movements.  Left and Right is also a challenging concept.  Well, not really but it can get confusing when they (the people on the DVD) say move left and look like they're moving right.
